Whitney Broetje pointed us to Christ by sharing the story of the Tabernacle through the Desert Godly Play box. She posed “I wonder” questions to consider and invited us to use art materials to respond, if we felt led.

We accepted the resignation of Matt Bell from Session with regret.

We accepted the financial report from Carolyn Burkland that expenses are down from last year, overall revenue is up $61,000 as compared to last year and we have a net profit of $18,000.

We discussed a document presented by the Administration and Global Outreach team entitled “Looking Ahead for Bethany: Outreach Priorities, Budget Stagnation, Hospitality and Growth”

We contemplated individually and then shared together what shimmered. We plan to engage further in the discussion that arose at our Session retreat in April.

At the request of the Nominating Committee we called a Congregational Meeting to elect officers on April 22^nd at noon in the sanctuary.
