Next Steps in Making Connection at Bethany

The next meeting Bethany 101 is September 28, from 9am-2pm.

Christian Formation and Direction
Meet one-on-one with a spiritual director, join a certification program, or take in a retreat. Christian Formation and Direction Ministries (Pacific Northwest) seeks to encourage spiritual formation focusing on practices, disciplines, and ways of being that enable us to hear, see and respond to God's invitation to a deeper relationship with Him. Learn more via their website.

Read Good Books
This group reads a new book each month and discusses it together on the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 7:00 pm in the Parlor. For more information, contact Michael Paulus: paulusm@spu.edu.

Adult Christian Education
The Christian Education team seeks to provide the congregation with opportunities for spiritual growth throughout the year, through providing individuals with learning opportunities both at Bethany and in the surrounding area. For more information, contact Chad Marshall: chadwmarshall@gmail.com.

Young Adults
Singles, marrieds, young adults in their twenties and early thirties gather weekly for Bible Study, and twice monthly to get to know each other through First and Third Sunday lunches after church at 11 Howe. Guests and visitors invited! M.O.P.S. is a program that supports mothers of preschoolers and is offered at University Presbyterian and Westside Chapel in Ballard.

Women's Bible Study
1st & 3rd Tuesdays at either 9:30 am or 7:00 pm in the Parlor
The Bethany Women's Bible Study group meets for a time of fellowship, prayer and studying the scriptures together. Our morning group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at either 9:30 am or 7:00 pm in the Parlor. Childcare is available for the 9:30 am Bible Study group. Alpha Course
Fall and Winter
Alpha is the place to ask questions about the Christian faith, to explore faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over 11 thought-provoking weekly sessions. Come for dinner, teaching and discussion. Click here to see our Facebook page.

Dynamis
Many will find this a helpful follow-up to Alpha. Others will be challenged and inspired to consider what it means to live more fully for Christ.

"The Dynamis Course explores a lifestyle empowered by the Spirit. God gives us the ability to walk faithfully and fruitfully and fulfill God's will and ways in our journey of faith." - Dynamis website www.dynamiscourse.com

Dynamis is a great way to experience community and friendship through a shared meal and group discussion. Participants will be encouraged to live deeper lives of faith, refreshed and empowered through the Holy Spirit.
