My role in Inter-Varsity Canada is Vice President for Campus Ministry. This includes work with graduate students and faculty, undergraduates, international students and high school students. In total this represents 120 staff working with 6,000 students.

My focus is to grow and develop staff and staff directors as they follow Jesus in this mission. The hope is that working with Inter-Varsity will not only accomplish a tremendous mission on campus, but will also encourage the staff to love Jesus more, reflect his character, and grow in their gifts. We are hoping to create a culture that reflects the kingdom of God throughout the movement. This in turn will have a profound impact on the students that are part of Inter-Varsity.

What that translates to in my day-to-day work is mentoring my two teams (15 staff total), teaching and training people (about 20 conferences each year), and leading the visioning process for the campus division.

I have not worked this hard in my entire life, but I have incredible joy as I see God at work in so many of the staff and students. The fellowship is marked with a joyful spirit and hope for what God will do in the near future. This is a tremendous community to work within.
