Jerry Sittser, author of this quarter’s Good Book, A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows through Loss, will be coming to Bethany October 30 - November 1. Join us throughout the weekend as Jerry talks about experiencing God’s presence, hope, and transforming grace in the midst of life’s circumstances.
Defining Moments, Transforming Grace
On Friday evening, Jerry will talk with us share with us how to live creative, fruitful, and hopeful lives even in the midst of transition, disappointment, and loss.
Tools for Training
On Saturday morning, Jerry will take us deeper into this transforming grace. Though grace is a gift, it’s a gift we must receive. He’ll teach us how Christians down through the ages have opened themselves to this gift of transformation—and then give us some tools that we can use to become more receptive to the transforming grace that God offers. Childcare available on Saturday morning for kids 4 & under; must RSVP to Mark Cutshall, mcutsh@aol.com.
Sunday Worship
On Sunday, we will worship together with Jerry preaching at all three services.
Though the session topics are related, they also stand alone. Feel free to come to one or all sessions. (An added bonus: on Friday and Saturday, we’ll have food…and coffee!)
