Hello! My name is David Salciccioli, and I am originally from Bend, Oregon. I lived there for 14 years before coming up to Seattle to go to Seattle Pacific University. And as of June, I will be finishing up my senior year double majoring in Educational Ministries and Christian Theology. Coming into college, I did not intend for this to be my course of study. God has directed my steps, however, and here I am four years later, loving and serving Christ — looking at ministry as a part of my future.

I recently got married this past August to a wonderful and beautiful woman named Azlan. We met at SPU three years ago and instantly connected. After a mission trip to Africa, summers in Santa Barbara, and holidays with our families, we got married. She is an amazing partner in life and in ministry and I am incredibly thankful that God brought her into my life.

I met Dianne Ross when she taught my class on children’s ministry this past spring. During the summer, Dianne emailed me and offered me this internship at Bethany. Since I started the internship two weeks ago, I have already loved spending time with the kids and getting to see how the church functions. Azlan and I have felt so welcomed by this loving and inclusive community, and we are very excited about being a part of it. I am honored to have this position, and I will look forward to meeting more of you and to see what God will do in the next four months
