Soup & Bread
Monthly after the morning services
On roughly a monthly basis, a crew of dedicated volunteers prepare and serve pastries following the first morning service and a real meal following the second morning service. Meals vary from the traditional soup and bread, to tacos with beans and rice in May for Cinco de Mayo, or sack lunches in September to commemorate the beginning of the academic hour. Savory and sweet pastries are served following all three of the Easter morning worship services. In June we fire up the grill to barbecue BBQ polish sausages, burgers (including veggie) and hotdogs.
Coffee and Tea Service
Sundays following the 9 am service
Every Sunday of the year in the Fellowship Hall following the 9:00 am worship service, friendly faces in the kitchen will invite you to have a cup of coffee or tea. You are encouraged to try to linger awhile and fellowship between services.
Gold Basin Camping Trip
July
This is our annual trip in July. Time is spent lounging at the campsite, hiking, swimming, biking and taking walks to the river. Those who attend fellowship over meals and enjoy Sunday morning worship together.
Mariners Baseball Game
August
Group tickets are purchased in August for Bethany members to attend a Mariners' game together. Even if the Mariners lose, all have a good time conversing together and cheering for the team.
Holiday Magic
December
Bethany participates in Queen Anne's Holiday Magic event by having an annual Christmas tree lighting on the lawn, followed by snacks and child-friendly activities for all who come.
