Al Anderson works as Vice President for Campus Ministry with Inter-Varsity Canada. His job includes working with graduate students and faculty, undergraduates, international students and high school students. In total this represents 120 staff working with 6,000 students.

On a typical day, Al:

• mentors a team of 15 staff
• teaches and trains people at about 20 conferences per year
• leads the visioning process for the campus division

He says, "I have never worked this hard in my entire life, but I have incredible joy as I see God at work in so many of the staff and students."

Al's focus is to grow and develop staff and staff directors as they follow Jesus in ministry to students and faculty. The hope is that working with Inter-Varsity will accomplish a tremendous mission on campus, and encourage the staff to love Jesus more, reflect his character, and grow in their gifts. Inter-Varsity staff are hoping to create a culture that reflects the kingdom of God throughout the movement.
