Carl, Lois, and Clinton Grove are serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators assigned to SIL Asia. They are currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. Lois teaches First Grade at International Community School, an international school with a vision of reaching out to Thai and international students who are not Christians. ICS is a K-12 school with about 850 students, about 25% of whom are Christians. About 60% of the students are Thai, 10% are American and 30% come from other countries around the world. Clinton is currently a Sophomore at ICS.
Carl is the director of SIL Asia's Language, Education, and Development team (LEAD). This team is focused on a vision of communities achieving their education and development goals while celebrating their unique languages and cultures. LEAD works to build capacity of under-served ethnolinguistic communities, link them with resources and advocate alongside them, so that they can achieve their goals and retain their ethnolinguistic identities. Carl continues to devote a significant portion of his time to work in Nepal as well.
