Children & Family Ministries is teaming up with Outreach in a joint mission to love our neighbors. Along with sharing life together, we honor Jesus’ message when we aim our schedules, finances, time, and energy toward our community members in need.
Join us once a month on Sundays after church to learn about our outreach partners and serve their constituents with hands-on activities. ALL ages are invited to attend these events! Check out the opportunities below and make a plan to gather with us as we share God’s love with the world:
New Horizons Drive
Sunday, June 26, after 10:30am service in the Fellowship Hall
We will focus our efforts on hygiene kits for the members of New Horizons. Stay after church with your whole family to hear about what New Horizons does and who they serve, then participate in packing kits for the Summer. You can also make your own kit at home and drop it off that morning.

World Relief of Western Washington
Sunday, July 24, after 10:00am service in the Fellowship Hall
Snacks, coffee, and all-ages activities
Your family is invited to join the Bethany community to learn about refugees around the world and in our region. Throughout the month of July, we will be offering practical ways to support these families as they establish a new home here in Western Washington. One practical way to show hospitality is to send the needed items on their wishlist. Along with learning and donating, we will be working on a welcome booklet for our new neighbors which will offer suggestions on fun activities in our area, up north, and south Seattle. Seattle World School Supply Drive
Sunday, August 14, after 10:00am service in the Fellowship Hall
Join us after church to learn about who Seattle World School serves, then start packing backpacks! As a church, we will provide the school supplies that go into the backpacks which will help young children to further their education, an essential for thriving. This partnership goes way back, and we are blessed to work towards an educated and cared for society.
Other opportunities to learn and give back. In addition to these Sunday activities, we will be gathering mid-week and on Saturdays for more localized service.
