Beyond Kid's Program

Children's Message

The Children's Message is an important part of our all-ages worship services. Generally following the sermon topic, the children's message is taught by a different volunteer from our Bethany community each Sunday.

Godly Play

Bethany uses a Sunday School curriculum called Godly Play for children Preschool through 4th grade. This Montessori-based program encourages children to think about faith and God on their own and to ask questions to build a strong and personal relationship with God. Learn more about Godly Play.

Faith Milestones

Every year elementary-aged students complete class milestones that mark their discipleship growth.
1st grade - Lord's Prayer
2nd grade - Communion
3rd grade - Bible
4th/5th grade - Creation Care

Goals & Volunteering

Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment where children are:
taught the foundations of the Christian faith;
challenged to accept the adventure of discipleship;
encouraged to take part in the community of faith at Bethany.

To each child at Bethany, we want you to know that:
you are deeply loved by Jesus Christ;
loving and obeying God is an adventure that will last your whole life;
you are an important part of our church family.

We are always looking for Sunday program teachers and assistants. If you are interested in joining a team, sign up using this form.
