In-Person Children's Program
Each class has loving adults and youth assistants to help kids respond to the weekly lesson. Join us as we grow in our community and in our faith!
+ Nursery care is available for children 2 years old and younger at the start of both services. Look for someone with a "Here to Help" badge and they will show you the rooms.
+ 9:00am service. Kids 3-5 years old have the option to start in their classroom at the beginning of service or start in the sanctuary with their family. Printed children’s bulletins will be available for all ages in the sanctuary. After the children’s message, kids 5th grade and younger will be dismissed to their individual classes for a lesson and response time.
+ Parents of preschoolers, please accompany kids to their room.
+ Parents of older kids, optional to accompany your child to their classes.

+ 9:00am all-ages worship service will be livestreamed and available to watch at your convenience.

Looking for a bright spot on those dark, cold winter evenings? Bring your little ones to our weekly 75-minute drop-in play session in the Fellowship Hall! Let your kids burn off energy in a safe, spacious indoor space while parents relax, chat, and connect. This is a low-key, welcoming space where families can unwind together. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Some equipment and toys will be provided but feel free to bring activities to share! No sign-up needed - just drop in and join the fun!
Who Open Play is available for any families who want to come - feel free to invite your friends!

Bethany Halloween Spectacular!
Saturday, October 31st 3:00pm - 6:00pm | Bethany Campus
Join Bethany as hundreds of families trick-or-treat at local businesses on Queen Anne Ave! This year we’ll have Spooky Activities & Crafts for kids in Fellowship Hall, treats galore at the door, and new this year, Spooky Sounds, a drop-in concert for the whole family in the sanctuary!
This is in conjunction with Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce Halloween on the Ave. All are invited!
Kids Choir
Kids Choir will be integrated into the morning kids program. All children Kindergarten through 5th grade will gather to sing together after the children's message, then head to their regular classes. It is optional (but encouraged!) for the kids to sing at our upcoming Welcoming Christmas (Dec 5) and worship service (Dec 20). These special elementary kids music mornings will be on Oct 11, 25, Nov 8, 22.

Children's Message
The Children's Message is an important part of our all-ages worship services. Generally following the sermon topic, the children's message is taught by different volunteers in our Bethany community each Sunday.
Godly Play
Bethany uses a Sunday School curriculum called Godly Play for kindergartners (9am service) and K-3rd grade (10:45am service). This Montessori-based program encourages children to build a strong and personal relationship with God by asking questions. Learn more about Godly Play.
Faith Milestones
Every year elementary-aged students complete class milestones to mark their discipleship growth.
1st grade - Lord's Prayer
2nd grade - Communion
3rd grade - Bible
4th/5th grade - Creation Care

Every summer we invite the community to have fun and learn together! Volunteers always needed. Registration for campers and volunteers starting in January.
