Music at Bethany

Bethany incorporates a diverse range of musical expression within corporate worship, from traditional hymns to contemporary praise songs, from the pipe organ and brass to guitar, violin and drums – to get involved, reach out to Jenn Cavanaugh, our Interim Worship Director.

The Bethany Choir ministers with music from Gregorian chant to contemporary choruses. The four-part choir participates in morning services during Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.

Instrumentalists and vocalists lead in worship at each Sunday service. Three ensembles rotate in leading morning services. Other musicians share their gifts in Children and Families Ministries and for Special Music on Sunday mornings. Rehearsal times vary; generally before services.

Special Music

A regular part of worship at Bethany includes solos to large ensembles, vocal or instrumental (or both), diverse but always with the purpose of enhancing congregational worship. Musicians serve both 9 & 10:45 am services when the choir is not scheduled.

“Una Voce” Student Choir

Our “Una Voce” Student Choir sing in service two times a year and welcome children from K-8th grade to sing together with one voice.

The Student Choir sing in Advent (December) and Lent (March/April).
