Wednesday Night Dinner
Wednesday Night Dinner (WND) is a weekly free community meal prepared and served mostly by volunteers. Doors open at 5:00pm and dinner is served at 5:30, come join this long-standing Bethany tradition!
WND is always looking for volunteers: We need cooks, servers, greeters, people to set up tables and chairs, grocery shoppers and more. Email Ken Jordan at kennethj@bethanypc.org if interested.
Middle School Ministry
Adults to assist the main teacher at Middle School Sunday School during the 9 am hour. (Training and the opportunity to try this out once provided!)
Adults with a heart for students to serve at Middle School Youth Group Thursday nights from 7-8:30. Our students love to play, ask questions, pray together, and generally connect. Training provided. Email Alison Witer at alisonw@bethanypc.org for more info
Sunday Morning Hospitality
Every Sunday Worship is made posible because of the hard work of all of our Sunday morning volunteers. There are a variety of positions available.
Usher: Bethany ushers greet people as they enter, pass out bulletins, collect the offering, and help congregants as needed. Email Laurie Nelson at laurienelson@hotmail.com if interested.
Coffee Server & Prep: Every Sunday coffee, tea, and cider is served between services to encourage fellowship and chats in between services. Coffee servers are responsible for making coffee, preparing the table, and making sure it stays stocked throughout fellowhsip hall time. Food Prep Every second Sunday of the month Bethany hosts what we call "Super Special Second Sunday" where instead of only coffee and tea being served we also have food in between services. We are always looking for volunteers to make and serve food for this special time of fellowship! Email Michelle McFarland at michelle.mcfarland@gmail.com if interested.
Prayers in Worship: Bethany relies on these loving volunteers to provide personal prayer for congregants either during comummunion, or directly after worship. Email Kerry Dearborn at kdearbor@spu.edu if interested.
Communion Prep Every other Sunday, the sacrament of communion is served at Bethany. Be a part of the team that prepares the bread and wine for our church! Email Laurie Nelson at laurienelson@hotmail.com if interested.
Music
Music is a critical part of worship at Bethany We incorporate both traditional and comtemporary music, and we are always looking for musicians of all skill levels
Chancel Choir: Bethany has a long and storied tradition of choir music. Our choir is active, performing new songs every season. We are always looking for more voices, experienced or not.
Ensemble: Bethany's ensemble plays contemporary worship music every Sunday morning. Guitarists, bassists, drummers, singers, pianists, and more are welcome to come play with us!
All Bethany music is ran by our Worship Director, Carlos Rangel. Send him an email at carlosr@bethanypc.org if you're interested in participating in the choir or ensemble.
Audio Visual Team
Our A/V team operates livestream equipment every Sunday to ensure that people are able to participate in church online. They advance slides with lyrics during songs, and engage with the livestream chat, and make sure the feed is running smoothly. Other team members move the cameras to follow worship.
You do not need tech experience to join the A/V team. Simply desire to learn, and a will to help. These are great roles for Middle/High schoolers, or anyone curious about the tech we use to worship every Sunday.

Our office staff makes sure church events run smooth and provides administrative support to other ministries. We're looking for people to help out with bulk mailings, organization, folding bulletins, and more. Communications/Graphic Design/Video

Volunteer with kids from 6 months old through 5th grade as part of a rotating schedule, either as a teacher or an assistant. Demonstrate God's love by teaching a joyful lesson, playing with kids, supporting the nursery, or preparing snacks! Young Adults Ministry
Bethany has a vibrant young adult group Our Young Adults Group meet twice a week on Wednesdays for dinner, fun and a chance to learn about God.
