Director of Wednesday Night Dinner – Part-time (20-25 hours per week)
The Director of Wednesday Night Dinner is responsible for the on-site operations of the Wednesday Night Dinner (WND), an open door community of Bethany Presbyterian Church. We gather Wednesday evenings to enjoy a meal and fellowship, to encourage one another in life and the Christian faith, and to be a blessing to our neighborhood and city.
The job is 20-25 hours per week, including on-site work Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and from around 10:15 – 11:15 am on at least 2 Sundays per month. Expected pay range is $28 to $32 per hour. Benefits include paid holidays, paid vacation, paid safe/sick leave, and new-parent leave, but not health/dental insurance or retirement.

Facilities Administrator – Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)
The Facilities Administrator oversees the maintenance, repair, and physical condition of the church grounds and buildings in support of program ministries at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Seattle. The Facilities Administrator will develop and manage Bethany facility project priorities in consultation with program staff and ministry partners to keep the facilities operating smoothly and managed with good stewardship for the long term. The Facilities Administrator should be someone who exemplifies the following characteristics.
- A patient and cordial communicator—with staff and Bethany ministry partners.
- As part of the Bethany staff team, understands the position as a ministry of stewardship to enable the church to do God’s work.
- Can do simple tasks such as minor repairs, upgrades, touch-ups, and targeted improvements on their own, without necessarily being asked.
- Will call in professional help when the situation (scope, specialty, urgency) warrants, and can effectively and attentively manage those hired contractors.
- Has the ability and a heart for identifying, recruiting, and managing the skills and gifts of the Bethany congregation for volunteer work related to church building and grounds.
