SPU’s discipleship program is one of the best things I have seen for students. If your student is looking to grow deeper in their faith, explore the academic environment of SPU, and take classes from (my favorite)theology faculty, I would highly, highly recommend this week. I served as a counselor last summer and was impressed with the diverse and passionate group of young people who came from all over the West to learn, grow and worship together. This is from one student from Bethany who participated last summer:

“This summer, I went to Immerse not sure what to expect; I didn’t have any close friends, I didn’t know who the leaders were going to be, I wasn’t exactly sure what we were even going to be doing. But at the end of the week, I didn’t want to leave. I learned from the week that God is in everything, whether we expect him to be or not; from the new friends from across the country to sunsets on the Camp Casey beach. It was a week of deepening my relationship with God, my relationship with myself, and deepening my understanding of how to connect with others over a shared love for Jesus.”  – Junia Paulus, grade 10
