Bethany All-Church Read
June 17 – August 18
We will be doing an All-Church Read of Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil’s new book: Empowered to Repair: Becoming People Who Mend Broken Systems and Heal Our Communities. We are asking you to have the book in hand by Sunday, June 16th. The church will have a few copies available as well if you are in need of a free book.
We'll begin reading together on Monday, June 17th. Dr. Brenda will join us for some sessions, we will have opportunities for communal discussion and reflection, there will be some prayer walks around both our Queen Anne neighborhood, and in other neighborhoods around Seattle, and there will be an online study available that you can use individually and/or with your small groups. For more information or if you are in need of a free book, reach out to marisag@bethanypc.org Looking forward to reading with you!
- ALL-CHURCH READ STUDY GUIDE: You can use these in your small group, with a friend, or even if you’d just like to reflect individually.
BOOK GROUP: If you are not currently in a small group and would like to be with other Bethany folks to discuss this book, please let Group Life Elder, Jennifer Steenstra know: jennifersteenstra.b@gmail.com.
